Just a reminder to everyone that no guilds are being deleted from the website. They are currently being marked as inactive which will hide them from view at the moment. We are currently putting together a system that will better identify and separate active guilds from inactive guilds on a server by server basis.
We are more than likely going to institute an option where visitors can toggle the rankings on a server page to view the placement of inactive guilds.
Also right now the system hides a guild from view in every expansion if it is marked as inactive. We are also going to implement that an inactive will only show as inactive on an expansion by expansion basis as well. So if a guild was/is still raiding previous expansions they can continue to see their progress without being marked inactive site wide if they are not raiding in current tier content.
Once again, if your guild was mistakenly deactivated please use the 'Contact Us' link on the Progression pages or at the bottom of the main site.
I will be disabling inactive guilds from being shown on the progression list over the next few days. I have been meaning to do this for awhile. If your guild was NOT inactive and it disappeared please contact me via the 'Contact Us' link with your guild name and server and I will double check.
I have made a change to the scoring system for the one shot boss in Molten Pools. Since no guild beta tested that content and the number of guilds that killed it before it had an official achievement from SOE was pretty low I have added that mob to the pool of available progression points.
That will be my thinking moving forward for content that should or should not be scored.
* Was the mob beta tested by any guilds?
* Was the mob broken when guilds began clearing it?
If the above is true in any way then the mob will more than likely not be worth points. If the above are not true then it will most certainly be scored. As always there might special circumstances or contingencies that may come into play in the future but my thought processes will always start with the above two questions.
The site should be much more manageable to view in Internet Explorer once again. There are still some missing elements compared to other browers like Firefox and Chrome but only on the aesthetic side of things. The pages now look mostly identical.
