http://www.playcovertops.com/images/background/sliders/slide_3.jpgCharacters like James Bond, Jason Bourne, and Jack Bauer all live in an exciting world of espionage and intrigue.* Travelling the globe, they dodge bullets, disarm explosives, and overcome impossible challenges to save the day.* The Agency: Covert Ops is designed to give you a taste of this adventure from the comfort of your Facebook account.* This game completely leaves out the realistic stuff no one likes to think about: real spies get Malaria in the jungle, have to fly coach, and share their hotel bed with roaches the size of your fist.
You begin the story as one of the few survivors of an attack on your Agency.* It’s up to you to rebuild from the ashes and find who is responsible for this evil plot. With the help of your Facebook friends as fellow agents, you’ll operate in numerous regions and unravel a plot so dark it makes Goldfinger’s Fort Knox scheme seem like knocking over a candy store.** Did I mention that this is a Facebook game with a story? This game offers the deepest storyline on Facebook, giving meaningful purpose to your objectives.
The main question from most people I talk to is, “Is this a Facebook game worth playing?”
Wait, aren’t Facebook games minigames?* Not like this.* We’ve all played Flash based games to kill a few minutes during a commercial break or while waiting for a Hot Pocket™ to cool.* The Agency: Covert Ops alternates between traditional Facebook gameplay, and time based mini-games. You’ll hack computers, crack safes, make escapes across rooftops, and more.* If Bond can disarm an explosive in under a minute, you can too – without losing any fingers!
That’s all cool but what is a secret agent without the right clothes?* Fatigues, suits, hats, jewelry, evening wear and tons of other options let you look as awesome as you want.* Trade in your tank top for a stealth suit or put away that screwdriver and pick up a submachine gun.* I personally went with full U.N.I.T.E. fatigues, a sporty beret, combat boots, and an assault rifle. When you are done customizing your avatar, head into your Headquarters and build a subtle safe house or swanky hideaway.* Instead of looking at paint samples or curtain patterns you can place laser grids and holographic projectors.* I’m a fan of the vault doors and large computer monitors.
I’ll admit I’ve tinkered around with more Facebook games than I can count.* Beating up mobsters, harvesting crops, and trying to survive on an island had its charm but The Agency: Covert Ops takes things to a different level. I find myself wanting to see what happens next, while constantly tweaking my character and headquarters.* If you haven’t checked it out, head to http://www.playcovertops.com/index.vm and take a look.* Many items are offered for Station Cash for your consideration, but the game is completely free to play and will show you a unique game that anyone on Facebook can enjoy.
