Milyex Vioren

[EQ-Raiders]

Milyex Vioren is the second boss encounter found on the second wing.

Milyex is found flying around are small circular platform with 5 Generators and his Iksar Mechanic.

The generators are as follows:

diamond -- northwest
ruby -- north
sapphire -- east
opal -- west
emerald -- southeast

Standard practice is to pull milyex against the back wall of his platform on top of the single generator there so your MT group can take care of the generator there.

Split up your raid into groups to handle each generator, you will be given notice when one of the generators has powered on. You will then have 26 seconds to disable it by doing enough damage to it, otherwise if you fail you will trigger a large fatal wing beat to your raid.

Milyex does have a small X4 mechanic add that is with him but he is extremely weak and his only ability is that he takes a few times to kill throughout the raid. You want the add dead as soon as possible otherwise he repairs the generators you are attacking and it takes longer to kill them.

Still a very simple fight despite the recent changes to the encounter.

Tip -- kill the engineer in melee range of milyex. AE dps from the melee working on Milyex will keep him dead throughout the fight (a zerker with their mythical can just beat on milyex and their AE AA will keep the engineer dead for the rest of the fight).
